PROJECTS UNDER TAKEN DURING THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2008-09 UNDER CMP

CLASS I PROJECT    Cleanliness(Mrs.Jyotsana)

Personal hygiene: Taking bath daily, wearing clean clothes, cutting nails, bringing handkerchief, polishing shoes and wearing washed socks.

Class Cleanliness: picking up papers wherever they see and throw in dustbins, Bring small duster to clean their hands and bench after eating their Tiffin, washing of hands after going to toilet and before meals

Remarks by parents: Parents co-operated and there was positive response to the above project.

Class II Project: Handwriting ,Reading(Sunita Dutta)

Extra attention on reading and writing of Hindi subject. Cursive book was introduced to improve the hand writing of students.

Above activity resulted in improvement in hand writing and command in reading Hindi language

Remarks by Parents: appreciated the effort in PTM Meeting.

Following activities are performed under the common minimum programmed from April 2009 to Aug 2009

1. Educational Excursion:-  Class I and II went for excursion to Rose Garden and Sukhna Kake on 10th Aug 2009.

Class III to V went to Pinjore Garden and Art museum on 7th Aug 2009

1. Film show two films are shown to the primary section .
2. Kabhi pass Kabhi fail.
3. Hathi ka Andaa.

1. Library: Each class teacher is issued books for the students of their class and maintain a circulating library .
2. CCA Activities:- Calligraphy Hindi & English Drawing completion, Poem recitation(English) Simply board completion on held in the Vidyalaya till date.
3. TLM:- Transparencies and lesion on OHP were given by the teachers. Activity sheets prepared & used by the teacher. Computer aided lesion were also given by the teachers.
4. Project:- General Knowledge, Mental maths and Spellings(English:- Question about general knowledge and simple mental maths and spellings of English words one written on the white board.

Cluster level Activities
Creative Activities were conducted at cluster level in K.V. Mullanpur on 12.11.09 Six Competition were organized in each one of class room under the supervision of teacher students of K.V Zirakpur, Dappar and High Grounds participated in all the following competitions:

• Drawing & Painting
• Slogan writing
• Clay modeling
• Rangoli
• Creative writing and speaking
• Best out of waste

Students were provided with the necessary material and after the completion of the activity best entries were selected and momentous were presented to the 1st and 2nd rest of the students were given the certificate of participation
 For cultural, literary and sports activities students went with escorts to K.V. Zirakpur, High Grounds and KV.Dappar
